A Sky Full Of Stars-Coldplay:
- Chris Martin leads the video and the camera work is predominantly on him.
- Coldplay as a band are shown as happy and relaxed shown with their fancy dress and relaxed attitude towards screaming fans.
- This is also allows Coldplay to show them as humble as they talk to fans and act really down to earth, letting the crowd follow him and he performs for them.
- The lyrics also fit the song with their dress sense, the song is quite relaxed and happy and this is represented through the bands dress.
- This is also shown with Chris's attitude towards the fans as the lyrics are predominantly directed to an individual and he sings whilst looks and almost directing the song towards individuals.
- This is also supported by the camera work as it stays upon Chris the whole time showing that the song is a direct song addressing one person.
- Also camera shakes are addressed within the beat of the song.
- The conventions for merchandise are shown with the predominate use of Chris and the fact that the whole song although cuts to the band its mostly on Chris showing him as the face of Coldplay.
- There is also looking used in the video with Chris stopping and watching a TV screen with Coldplay performing on stage.
- We also see an inter-textual reference within the music video as on the side of the drum attached to Chris's back is the image of the album ghost stories cover so it links to the album its from and advertises the album.
