- Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame in early 2011. he was born in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.

+ and X. Both of Ed Sheeran's albums have debuted at number 1 in the UK and Sheeran's latest album X has debuted at number 1 in the US. - Sheeran has performed with many big names in the music industry, some of which include: Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera and One Direction.
- He began to become known internationally in the year 2012, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swifts fourth studio album Red and wrote songs for One Direction. His debut single 'The A Team' was nominated for song of the year at the 2013 Grammy awards.
- He has won a total of 12 awards and has been nominated for 49 awards, his most prestigious awards are: British Breakthrough act and British solo male artist.
- Ed Sheeran has changed his singing style over the years to keep up to date and current with the changing music that has been going on. For example in his new song Sing, some parts of the song include lyrics where Ed Sheeran is rapping.
