We had planned to do some filming for the first three periods of school on Thursday outside in the woods, but it was raining all morning, meaning we couldn't. One of the group members also forgot their clothes to use for filming. The night before today's filming, we decided to re film last weeks scenes, as when we were filming (with the studio sheet portrait) we were finding it difficult for us all to fit in the scene or throw the balloons around without getting arms, hands and bags in.
This weeks filming was a lot more successful, we used the studio again, but this time using the sheet horizontally, this gave us a lot more room to film and we didn't find it difficult throwing the balloons around this time.
Generally, we re filmed what we did last time, but I think we added a bit more of a variety of shots, including mid shots, close ups, pov's and high angle shots. We made sure we over filmed so that we have plenty of film to use and if we want to, change the video a little. We are using the storyboard as a general outline and aren't depending on it too heavily, because we are coming up with a lot of new ideas during filming time.
Today we filmed scenes of two of the group members throwing balloons around and having a 'fun' time and we filmed a group member miming. We are hoping to really pull this whole video together when it comes to editing and are hoping that it does come across as fun and light hearted, but something we took seriously at the same time. We didn't get round to taking too many photos today as we were more focused on filming.
