Today, we walked to Andrea's (my) house, to use the pop up set. A lot of the time was spent blowing up balloons and setting up the backdrop, lighting and camera. I think today, we may have run out of time a little, or we could have done with a little extra time. We filmed many shots, but we feel that the balloons scene may have been a little too staged looking, as we were trying to aim for a happy and natural looking video. We will have to see if the scenes from today need to be re filmed or if there is enough scenes, or we may even need to think of a new idea. We mainly had problems with getting the balloons to fall , as the two boys had to throw them about , while I (Andrea) mimed the lyrics. We had problems with arms getting in the shot of the camera, but we should have enough footage to be able to cut and edit them to make enough out of the footage we have.
We also took videos and images of what we were doing to add to the blog and for the bloopers video. We are trying to use our time wisely and get as many shots as we can. If we need extra scenes at the end, we have agreed to make room for some 'catch up' days.
