Inspirations for our music video

  • Jake Miller - I'm Alright:

In Jake Miller's video I'm Alright, as a group we were inspired by its humble approach regarding the singer Jake. Throughout the video when the lyrics cut to the rapper he is simply walking along the street, with its background changing along with the beat. Our interpretation of this was to get Andrea to sing in a outside setting rather than just a studio setting.

  • Paramore - Ain't it fun:
Ain't it fun, was the overall inspiration for our music, video using that song, but in particular we liked the symbolism used. Keeping to this idea we put balloons into our video in replace of the coloured records used in the video by the band, so the audience find it relatable. The use of balloons makes the audience relate to the song, and it gives us some relation to the original track. Furthermore we can use the symbolism of balloons in our digi-pack.

  • Paramore - Still into you:
Still into you also inspired our music video, using balloons and a house scene showing happiness following the lyrics. We adopted this idea, filming at Andrea's house using her pop up studio, and furthermore we added balloons, into the video symbolising the records from ain't it fun and giving a direct link to still into you showing our research into other Paramore songs.

  • Kings of Leon - Super soaker:
This video, gave us inspiration, to add colour effects over the top of our video, to make it appear much more interesting and give a new element to the video making it more interesting, fitting the genre. In this video we also wanting to use the singer at a microphone shot which we used in our video with studio scenes of Andrea.
