Day 1 of Filming

Day 1

Today was our first day of filming, we used a music studio. We originally planned to have a scene of the whole band including the singer performing the song together. We decided not to do this because the studio was small and the drum kit would have taken a long time to move and we only had 3 periods to do it. We included someone else into the band scenes, as we needed a drummer, but this isn't a problem because Paramore also have a drummer to drum for them, as they don't have a drummer that is part of the band.

We remembered to take pictures and there weren't many problems apart from the studio being too small or too cramped. Bradley and Brandon forgot to bring their clothes to change into for filming, but it didn't turn out to be too much of a problem as they don't look too out of the scenes. We managed to film some scenes of the band playing, (drums, bass and guitar) and then separate scenes of the singer miming the lyrics.

We then added extra scenes, in which we may or may not use. We plan to do a bloopers video, to try and get as many marks as possible and so that we can add extra blogs posts. We filmed extra scenes, like a group discussion that we are thinking about adding to the video and we filmed a scene of Bradley and Brandon miming the lyrics, but this was more of a jokey clip that will possibly be added to the bloopers.

Day one of filming seemed to go well and we managed to get a lot of angles and extra clis, meaning we will hopefully not need to go back and film more at the end.
